During this orientation, students are introduced to the core values and mission of the IRCS, with a focus on how these principles align with their nursing education and future practice. IRCS goal is to provide them with a comprehensive understanding of the Red Cross’s programs, services, and the essential role they will play in advancing to the IRCS collective mission.
IRCS expect to engage in discussions about the importance of humanitarian service, gain insights into IRCS organizational structure, and familiarize them with the resources available to support their development. Additionally, this orientation covers key aspects of professional conduct, ethics, and the impact of nursing in community health.
IRRCS encourages students to participate actively, ask questions, and take full advantage of this opportunity to connect with peers and mentors from across the country. Their journey with the IRCS is not just about enhancing their skills, but also about contributing to a larger cause that makes a meaningful difference in the lives of others
With the growing need for Health Care Attendant in the society for serving the elderly, disabled and critically ill persons at home Indian Red Cross Society is prepared to start Home Health Aide Course in collaboration with Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital and Safdarjang Hospital. The aim of the course is to impart skill to young men and women from the community to render Home Health Care to the needy and to empower youth with skill sets that will make them self reliant and employable.
Third batch of HHA Course commenced on 4th March, 2020. Applications for admission are closed.

The 29thbatch commenced on 12 March, 2020. Personal discussion, if required, will be held on 20 February, 2020. Candidates who have applied earlier and were not selected, will need to apply again.
